Kinusaiga is a Japanese "threadless quilting" art form that creates detailed images by pressing fabric scraps into grooves cut into a wooden or foam base, requiring no sewing. Developed from the tradition of repurposing old kimono silk, this technique, often using scrap fabric on insulation board, turns fabric into textured masterpieces.
We will provide sample patterns but you are welcome to design anything you would like! No sewing or other skills needed.
