*Early bird pricing through May 16th
Campers will end the session with:
Unique crafting projects that utilize different skills, mediums, and materials such as jewelry making, collage, decoden, fiber arts, and more!
Creativity Charms (our take on merit badges!) that represent the projects and activities we explored together
A custom journal that has three days worth of exercises, reflections, collages and plenty of blank pages to keep the creative practices going!
New friends and fun memories!
Vision & Values:
Social media and pop culture can be wonderful - they are how we find our favorite songs, artists, and inspiration for new projects and ideas. But with an endless stream of content, it is easy to reach a point where we lose ourselves in the noise. For growing girls in particular, there can be immense pressure to look a certain way, like certain things, or emulate certain behaviors.
Through guided crafts and activities, Shimmer Campers explore their unique creative voice and vision. Instead of crafts being focused on reproducing a sample, campers reconnect with the process of feeling inspired, playful, and curious. Camper creations don’t have to be or look like anything other than what feels good to create.
Our hope is to foster skills that help campers metabolize outside influences so they can keep the connection and inspiration and, let go of the rest. We build self-esteem by giving campers an opportunity to find joy in themselves and to let that joy shimmer!
Daily Agenda-
9am-930am: Morning meeting and intention setting with mini craft
930am-11am: Crafts and activities
11am-1130am: Break / Snack / Walk
1130am-1pm: Crafts and activities
1pm: Charm awarding and dismissal
